The ACE platform allows users to access a remote Android ACE device, similar to Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, but designed for touch interaction – both the Android OS and the hundreds of thousands of COTS apps available for it. Hypori’s ACE platform integrates with existing EMM investments such as MDM (to manage the ACE devices), MAM and app stores (to deploy the ACE client and/or to deploy apps to ACE devices), etc – the ACE device is like a physical handset, but it is running a server. It is complimentary to VDI. The ACE platform also integrates with the rest of the enterprise IT ecosystem, such as LDAP, two factor auth, system monitoring, DevOps deployment and auditing.

The ACE platform allows an enterprise to migrate away from enterprise owned physical mobile devices to enterprise owned virtual mobile devices running in a private or public cloud at a significantly lower total cost of ownership.

BYOD with Hypori

99% of the Fortune 500 use remote Windows technology for some subset of their users and use cases. As the user led transition to mobile devices continues, Hypori expects to see similar market uptake of VMI and mobile teleworking.

An enterprise with 30,000 unclassified Blackberries would save around $24M per year by moving to enterprise owned ACE devices running in the enterprise’s data center.
